What If The India-NPak Situation Was Reversed?

This week, two major terrorism related events took place in India, terrorism against Indians from Non-Pakistan. One was classic terrorism – a few terrorists infiltrated into Indian state of Panjab and attacked a police station. The terrorists were killed but not before they had killed eight Indians. The second was the hanging of the Muslim terrorist Yakub Memon who was responsible for the 1993 bomb blasts in Mumbai that took 250+ lives, both Hindu & Muslim lives.

We ask every one of you to think about a simple question – What if the India-NPak situation was the other way around? What if NonPak were six times the size of India instead of India being six times the size of NPak? What if NonPak Military were the size of Indian Military & Indian Military the size of NPak’s? What if NonPak was on a path to become the 4th largest economy while Indian economy remained mired in the economic mess of the NPak economy?

How would that bigger, stronger, richer NonPak would have behaved with the smaller, weaker, poorer India? Why is this a relevant question today? We will take a longer & more descriptive route to our views about answers to these questions – a route through two tweets we saw from “prominent” Indians.

1. Dolphins in the Ganga

An Indian Television Anchor & Editor of a major TV News program tweeted a story about “Ganges” Doplhins. We know about British-obedient Indians (“BrIndians” for short) and how they ape British nomenclature. Still we were stunned.

For those who don’t know, the River Ganga is sacred to Indians; its history goes back to the beginning of known time and the reverence in which it is held remains just as fervent as it was thousands of years ago. The colonial British rulers changed the name of this river to Ganges just as they changed the names of every sacred or major Indian entity. Such changes were intended to instill in Indian minds that they were a lower form of human species that could only rise up if they obey & learn from the British master race.

How effective were the British? They left India in 1947, 68 years ago. But their dictats still rule Indian minds, the mind of a rich, successful prominent & elite Indian like this National TV anchor in India. As we said, we were stunned. And we tweet-called this anchor out, rather bluntly. What was his reaction?

  • TV anchor – @MacroViewpoints, they are called Ganges Dolphins, turd

This guy thought he was making a definitive point. He was but not in the way he thinks. Think about this man’s answer. It is the answer virtually every single BrIndian would give. He was merely using the term that, to him, is used universally, the name given to that species of Dolphins by some scientific body. Hence, to him, that term is inviolate despite what some “backward” Hindus might think.

Think about his answer:

  • Not for one second did this BrIndian ask himself – what right does a western, meaning Christian/Jewish entity have to keep using a Brit-colonial distortion of a sacred Indian name?
  • Not for a milli-second this rich, elite BrIndian say to himself – why do we Indians allow them to keep using these Brit-distortions of sacred Ganga 68 years after Independence?
  • Not even for a micro-second did this elite, national TV anchor say to himself – I should build a coalition of Indians to get all western institutions to remove this Brit-distortion Ganges & restore the sacred name Ganga.

We can virtually guarantee that none of this did not even occur to this rich, elite national TV anchor in India. And it may not be the fault of this man. This happens because India got physical independence from Britain in 1947 but not mental independence. In their minds, Indians, especially BrIndians like this TV anchor, remain subservient to British nomenclature, one because it gives them a special standing relative to “Indian” Indians and two because that is how they have been taught in their English-medium schools.

2. Are Sanskrutists are worse than this BrIndian?

It is a positive for India that Sanskrut is undergoing a revival of sorts. But it is a negative that people who are trying to restore Sanskrut are themselves mentally chained to British nomenclature, more chained that BrIndians like the TV anchor above.

How mentally-chained are they? They keep using the Brit-distortion Sanskrit instead of the phonetically correct Sanskrut (or Samskrut). They know that the name comes from the root “kru” meaning to do. They say it correctly in Indian languages but when it comes to spelling it in English, they cannot mentally free themselves from the shackles of British nomenclature.

This is literally true of almost every sacred Indian term:

  • They still write Ved as the horrible “Veda” or worse “Vedas” even though Ved is both singular & plural. The Brit-distortion “a” is added to every Sanskrut word and “as” is added to make even a plural Sanskrut word even more plural like Pandavas & Kauravas.
  • They even mix up genders in their determination to keep using Brit-distortions – they comingle masculine Raam & feminine Raamaa into the same spelling Rama. They never pause to wonder why the British used different spellings for Robert & Roberta, Carl & Carla but comingled the Indian genders into one spelling like Ram & Rama.
  • They use the same spelling for ancestor & descendant – Bharat & Bhaarat (descendant of Bharat) are both written as Bharata.

These Sanskrutists are just like the BrIndian TV anchor above. They both know that the British spellings are wrong and even derogatory to their names & culture. But they all keep using the Brit-distortions as obediently as they were taught to.

Because the very thought of changing the spellings that were used by the British seems so rebellious to them. To this day, they would rather change Indian names to fit British nomenclature than change English nomenclature in India to fit Indian names. And the very thought of demanding a change in British nomenclature used in the western world – that thought is completely beyond the ken of both BrIndians & Sanskrutists. You can see the mental shudder that goes through Indian minds if you even suggest such a thing.

What does this have to do with India-NonPakistan? A great deal because the mental servitude towards British nomenclature is merely a newer form of the mental fetters of the Indian mind.

3. Real Mental Slavery of Indians

The British supremacy in India is only 200-250 year old. It hasn’t had the time to run deep into the Indian psyche, the psyche of the large majority of Indians who don’t speak English. There is another supremacy that has gone deep into Indian psyche. And so has the utter surrender of Indians to that supremacy.

Travel anywhere in North India, speak to North Indians anywhere in India and you will quickly realize that North Indians remain afraid of & servile towards Muslims. Why go to India? Speak to North Indians in America and you will see the same fear, the same surrender. Read this true story that was relayed to us by a friend:

  • Last year there was a dinner at the private residence of an Indian family in a major Southeastern city in America. It was predominantly a Hindu party with a couple of Muslim families. One Muslim woman said – “Wouldn’t it be great if India were once again ruled by Muslims?” None of the Hindus present said anything, not even one of 40-odd Hindus present there. A Hindu woman later said to our friend – “I wanted to say something but I didn’t know if any one would support me

Think about this:

  • That a Muslim woman can talk publicly about her desire for Muslims to rule over Hindus in 80% Hindu India.
  • That a solitary Muslim woman can boldly single-handedly express this desire in a gathering where Hindus outnumbered Muslims by nine to one.
  • That no Hindu dared to protest or raise a contrary opinion.
  • And finally that the solitary Hindu woman who wanted to protest dared not do so without guarantee of support from other Hindus.

This story is the perfect encapsulation of mental surrender of Hindus to Muslims. This is despite the fact that Muslim rule in North India ended around 1750 in many areas of North India and ended in Delhi in 1857. If this mental surrender to Muslims is still prevalent in Hindus living in suburban America, what level of mental surrender must remain within Indians that reside in North India, in villages, small towns & large cities?

The reality is, for literally over 1,000 years, every Muslim invader has defeated larger Hindu armies and conquered North India – yes, every single Muslim invader. Hindus could not win a single war despite being larger in number & fighting on their home turf. Finally Hindus in North India surrendered one by one and accepted Muslim rule. Every one of these Muslim invaders massacred 30,000 – 50,000 Hindus to instill fear and obedience. They stole Hindu women wherever they could find them, converted as many Hindus to Islam as they could and plundered whatever they wanted. Hindus could do nothing and soon they did nothing.

4. Today’s India-NonPakistan Reality

This legacy continues to this day. You see that in that party in Suburban America, you see that every day in North India where Muslims still rape Hindu women and where Muslims still cleanse out Hindus in the neighborhoods & provinces with Muslim majority.

This is why a terrorist attack that kills a few people in Panjab, why even a terrorist attack that killed several hundred people in Mumbai does not create an unstoppable demand for retaliation against Muslim NonPakistan. Indians have been inured to being killed by Muslims, to being subjugated by them over the past 1,000 years. This is why Hindus will not move to other areas to protect Hindus in Muslim-majority areas of 80+ Hindu majority India. Forget about protecting Hindus in NonPakistan or Bangladesh.

You can see this legacy of surrender to Muslims in every facet of Indian life, most conscpicuously in Bollywood – in the male superstars of Bollywood, in the language of Bollywood; you see it in female Hindu stars marrying Muslim male stars and converting to Islam to be able to marry. You see that in male Hindu  Bollywood stars converting to Islam to be able to marry Muslim female Bollywood stars.

And you see this in NonPakistan where virtually everyone dreams of installing Muslim rule in India. You see that in their willingness of wage war against India until India is ruled again by Muslims. Indians seem to think of the India-NPak conflict in economic terms whereas Muslims in NonPak think of it in terms of historical right. They ruled India, they are the winner religion, they must rule India again and that war will continue until that happens.

And that is the story of the funeral of Yakub Memon this week in Mumbai.

5. Procession for Yakub Memon

Yakub Memon was a terrorist who was responsible for multiple bombs that were detonated in 1993 in Mumbai. The series of bombs caused the death of 257 Indians, both Hindus & Muslims. He was finally hanged this week. How did the Muslims in Mumbai react to his funeral procession? Did they protest this heinous murderer who killed over 250 people in their city, many of them Muslims? Look at the photos below to get your answer.

Embedded image permalink    Embedded image permalink

If this is attitude of Indian Muslims towards a convicted terrorist who killed 250+ Indians in their own city, what is the attitude inside NonPakistan towards their terrorists who kill Indians in India? What do you think?

Turn it around. What if a Hindu terrorist killed a couple of hundred of people inside NonPakistan? How quickly would he have been hanged by NonPak government? Would it have taken 22 years? More importantly, how would their Muslim majority have reacted if the Hindu minority had taken out such a procession for a Hindu terrorist who killed 250+ people inside NonPakistan? Would a much larger Muslim attacked such a Hindu procession? More relevantly would the Muslim Government of NonPak have allowed such a Hindu procession for a Hindu terrorist who killed Muslims NonPak citizens?

You know the answer. But do you realize that the last question above tells the story of the India-NPak conflict?

6. Narendra Modi & NonPak Government

The tweet below is the other one that triggered this article:

  • Indian Think-tank founder – “sooner or later, all Indian leaders return to the negotiating table with their Pakistani counterpart

This tweet expressed the frustration of many Indians who thought it would be different under Prime Minister Modi. NaMo was thought to be a hard man, a man who was not afraid to lay down the law against NonPakistan. He certainly began that way. The Indian military retaliated massively when NonPak forces fired on Indian troops. He shut down all dialog with NonPak government when NonPak ambassador met Muslim separatists in India. But now, the Modi government seems to have become like the old Congress Governments that always provided justifications for NPak’s behavior.

The answer, to us, is more complex. Shree Modi has cleared changed but not because he has changed personally. But because he understands that the Indian majority is simply unwilling to engage in a military confrontation with NonPak over terrorism or wanton killings of Indians inside India by NPak terrorists. He has realized that his government would be severely penalized at the polls if he took a military action that was not an unqualified success and or failed to solve the terrorist problem for good without any damage whatsoever to India.

After all, the Indian people have suffered massacres at the hands of Muslims for 1,000 years and Indians continued to be cleansed out of Muslim majority parts of 80%+ Hindu India as we write this article. So what is the deaths of a few or few hundred Indians in the next terrorist attack? It is life, after all. Better to accept it and go on with our lives than risk a bigger damage by retaliation. This is India & the Indian people. So to survive and succeed, NaMo has to become more like what his people want him to be.

Think of a billion sheep grazing peacefully. They keep getting attacked by packs of rapacious wolves who kill them wantonly. The sheep bleat loudly when attacked and shed tears for their killed comrades. But soon enough the bulk of the sheep, especially in the center of the mass of sheep, forget what happened and get back to grazing peacefully. This is the perfect analogy for the India-NonPak terrorism problem. The terrorist wolves attack and kill a few Indians, few in terms of the Indian population. The entire population expresses anger and grief. The urban Indians light candles in memory and pray. Then after a few days, the bulk of the Indian population goes about their everyday affairs. This works because the wolves are relatively few in number.

This gets back to our basic question of what if the India-NPak situation were the other way around. The answer is easy. At every opportunity, the stronger NPak would threaten to invade India and seize states unless India agrees to their “just” demands; that stronger NPak would bully India in every possible way and demand India pay large sums of money & accept NPak’s writ in the NPak subcontinent. And eventually, after breaking India’s will, the stronger NPak would recapture India and unite the subcontinent in a Muslim ruled state with Hindus living like Christians in today’s Muslim-ruled Middle East.

Think back to our analogy of wolves & sheep. Ask yourselves what would happen if a billion sheep were attacked not by few hundred wolves but by 300 million wolves.

7. A look ahead to 2030

By 2030, the Indian economy would be much larger. Much of India would have electricity and people will have higher incomes across the board from large cities to small towns to villages. This is a happy story and much of India is focused on this vision.

But what about India’s neighborhood? NonPak would remain an economic mess & fully armed to the teeth. Afghanistan would be even more of a mess with the Pashtuns in control and even more aggressive than they are now. Together these would be 300 million plus people that are simultaneously poor, armed to the teeth, and battle-hardened.

They would see a rich prosperous India so close to them, an India that is begging to be attacked and plundered just as it was in 998 CE. Ask yourselves, what would they do? Remain in their own poor undeveloped areas or come down to India in waves of either terrorist or direct military attacks? Remember they would still have nuclear weapons and Indians would have even more to lose in an all out nuclear conflict than today.

And what would that India be like? Indians tend to get fat, dumb & happy when they become prosperous. How many Indians in that prosperous India would be content to join the Indian military when they could make much more money in other professions and, more importantly, when they can see other Indians make so much more outside the military? The Indian military is short of officers today in today’s weak Indian economy. Where will the army find young capable officers 15 years from today in a much richer India? And that India will have a much larger Muslim minority than today.

How will this soft prosperous India fight the battle hardened Muslim invaders from Afghanistan-NonPakistan? Or will they revert back to the way they were in 998 CE when they began buying off invaders with monies & women?

Fifteen years is just over the horizon. We should start seeing some real indicators of progress in India in the next few years, progress at becoming a tougher harder society that goes on offensive rather than remaining servile and defensive.

One such indicator would be Indian TV anchors dropping their Brit-obedience and insisting on changes in western nomenclature to fit Indian terms like mandatory usage of Ganga instead of the horrible Ganges. If rich successful Indians begin going on verbal & written offensive against western dominance, then may be the rest of Indians could begin.

The other real indicator for us would be for the elite Indian think-tankers & Indian media to stop using the horrible word “Pakistan” which literally means “land of the spiritually pure”.  They know it is atrocious for them to keep using the “Spiritually Pure land” designation for a regime that keeps sending terrorists to kill Indians & a regime that is hell bent on cleansing out all religious minorities from their own land.

But these elite successful Indians can’t get free of the “liberal” “educated” mental chains in which they have been trapped by their British overlords. For them to use NonPakistan, Non-Pak or NPak as we do would be tantamount to giving up their British airs and becoming like other Indians or, heavens forbid, like crude Americans.

So watch National TV anchors in India who keep using “Ganges” and Indian think-tankers who keep using “Pakistan”. If you see them change, then that would be a leading indicator of change in the surrender-servility mindset of Indians.

  1. Maybe one way too stem the rot is to revamp the education system. This way, Indians will get through true picture of what the foreign invaders, particularly the Muslims, did to India. Just like black and white kids together learn about slavery in the US. But who will bell the cat?

    1. To the moderator
Would appreciate your fixing the typos like ”the” instead of “through”Thanks!

  2. The crux of the problem is that India is being controlled by the mafia that funds all political parties for future elections. Over the years the mafia has played the media and even the judiciary to manoeuvre perceptions – the make or destroy game. India’s defence has remained defunct because the military is kept away from strategic policy formulation, higher defence organization including the MoD, as also the defence-industrial complex that has little to boast other than ISRO’s space program and missiles. Ironically, the present government too has given no indications to rectify these serious flaws. The Defence Secretary continues to be officially tasked for the defence of India, not the Defence Minister and an unaccountable bureaucracy rules the roost. Any reason why with all the chest thumping of Make in India, the total FDI in Defence to-date is a measly Rs 48 lakhs. The existing procedures have still not been streamlined and the new Defence Procurement Procedure (DPP) appears still few months away. Replace the MoD with a Department of Defence (DoD) headed by the Defence Minister and manned by military professionals, merge HQ IDS fully with MoD as was intended when the former was raised a decade back and see the difference. Despite India being subjected to proxy wars for over three decades plus, how come we have not been able to establish credible deterrence against sub-conventional threats? For Heaven’s sake don’t blame the citizens of the country for all this. It is a question of leadership at the highest level that must break free of the mafia and workout required policies and plans, and ensure capacity building. Then, the reference to Hindu psyche in the article too is directly related to leadership. Were the Cholas, Vkramaditya, Ashoka and Ranjit Singh Muslims and don’t we know the extent of their empires that included Muslim areas right up to the Hindukush and beyond and coquests in Tibet, southeast Asia?. If you see sacrifice in radical Muslim jihadis, then the LTTE cadres (Hindus) were carrying cyanide around their necks much earlier. Sub-conventional war is a question of statecraft and related to leadership. China was training Taliban on Chinese soil even before the US invaded Afghanistan. China has created a deadly proxy in the USWA (United State Wa Army) in Myanmar even though the Wa are 100% Buddhists, arming them not only with machine guns, air defence missiles and armoured vehicle but also with missile fitted helicopters. So let’s not talk of Hindu psyche and don’t blame the Indian public for lack of strategic sense and political will at the very top. The question remains whether the Modi government will let India break free?

    1. Dear Mr. Katoch,

Very good points. But an assessment of these facts begs the question why, in india today, is maintaining vigil and safeguarding our borders, peoples and assets not a priority.

It is true that we’ve had many martial warriors — incredibly successful ones. The maratha empire, for instance, extended till Nepal! But yet, today, why is India’s response characterized by pusillanimity? Why, when we grow rich, do we hamstring our military? Why, when we should have the most powerful forces who can deal with all sorts of conflicts, are we left with poorly trained corps and unaccountable bureaucracies?

The root cause still comes down to something most unpalatable: We do not consider safeguarding our people from random attacks a priority. We do not consider it good/necessary/whatever to inflict a crushing blow on our enemies. we continue to suffer.
The conclusion is inescapable: we are a nation of lambs, run by somewhat bigger lambs.
All these bigger lambs can do is steal from the smaller lambs. But when faced with wolves, or hyenas or tigers, they show themselves for what they are.
I had expected better from this government. Alas, my faith is rapidly turning to disillusionment.

      1. Dear Mr AG,

Unfortunately, we don’t even have a National Security Strategy, the One Border, One Force Concept is not followed – witness even today sensitive areas like Depsang and Chumar where the Chinese periodically intrude are with ITBP that report to MHA, not to MoD. The present government has given no indication to improve the defence, which was the most neglected since over the past decade.

    2. Siachen is a rare glorious story of the Indian Military post-Independence.You, Gen. Katoch, are a major part of that story. So our respect for what you have done in your career is very very high. Your points about the state of weapons acquisition by India’s MoD are apt. Just look at the IAF – so much weaker than it was in 2001 relative to NPak & China. And air supremacy is the backbone of India’s military doctrine vs NPak.The Indian Army remains incapable of major offensive operations inside NPOK; Can Indian army take Gilgit, even Skardu?

But the above doesn’t negate the basic reality that in a democracy, people get the government they deserve & want. There is no appetite in India for a strong offensively capable military both because of an instilled appeasement belief & because they want govt monies to be spent on them and not in Indian military. Look at Kashmir – Muslims are willing to go to Syria & Iraq to fight for ISIS but Hindus wont even go to Kashmir to generate a Hindu majority in Kashmir. That is why, we believe, PM Modi has turned out to be quite different than Candidate Modi.

The moment Indian people understand how important offensive capability is for the Indian military and the moment they demand progress from the Prime Minister, that moment you will see changes.

      Finally, almost all of the historical figures you cited are pre-Islam; We are surprised at your omission of Bajirao and the Maratha federation that dominated 80% of today’s India for almost 100 years; Bajirao won every one of his 41 battles in Central-North India; His son Raghunath Rao captured Lahore, Multan & crossed Attock & sent abdali’s son back to Kabul; During Panipat, a Marathi Army marched from Pune to confront Abdali’s invasion; No one in North India joined them; Panjabis, Jats, Rajputs all stood on the sidelines waiting to pick up the pieces after that largest battle in the world in 1761;

Sad to see today’s Indian Military doesn’t even discuss this 100-year history; the only offensive success against Muslim invaders post-Ghazni; The best military source remains Field Marshal Monty Montgomery of WWII fame; And the British library in London remains the best source of books on the successes of Marathi war technology that destroyed the Mughals.

Your points are apt and correct. But blame always must be put on the society and people. Because societal intelligence is the foundation on which everything else is built.

  3. I am in total agreement with AG. We are lambs – we cant even protect ourselves by electing proper leaders. For money our own people become musclemen of the affluent who know how to corrupt. And because of our pseudo intellectuals who will quote from Ved, Upnishads, Geeta, Bible, Koran and every holy scripture to ‘turn the other cheek’. Human rights is more applicable to the Hindu than any other religion in this country. And despite our saga of courage and sacrifice in the face of adversity we still do not have the guts to cross the LoC/LC/IB despite all other nations doing so with impunity. We have been slaves long enough that ‘my baap’ culture is now part of our national DNA. 68 years since independence we still do not have a national security doctrine, our ministries are run by inefficient and non professional people – each mired in corruption and scandals. The future seems definitely scary for the Hindu citizens of this country.

  4. A well articulated and exhaustive analysis of the current national scenario. One could hardly fault with the views projected. But the moot point is; what is the way ahead given the prevailing situation and a negative and myopic attitude amongst the political players.

When the present govt. took over from the previous regime, there was much hope to expect a real change, a more realistic and dynamic approach from the new leadership. Alas; that was not to be. The beaten path has not been abandoned. The situation clearly demands a more forceful and enlightened leadership. It is necessary to evolve practices and solutions to conform to the “Indian Psyche”.

Yet as an optimist, I have faith in the genius of the fertile Indian mind and the common urge amongst the masses to do better for India i.e. Bharat.

  5. After reading a very thought provoking article and then the comments, one has to practice these comments. We can comment a lot sitting in air conditioned rooms what matters is the work on ground. This syndrome can be changed only by working and working with society for the change in psycho.

  6. Our last Real Leaders were Netaji Bose & Sardar Patel (both died before fully accomplishing their missions). Third rate politicians have been (mis)leading us with mere slogans. Let us learn from Jews – far fewer in numbers and surrounded on all sides by sworn enemy nations, they have progressed in all fields. Even if we turn 10% Hindus into Jews than we have good hope, otherwise, we will become another Maya Civilization – just soul-less converts, under occupation.

  7. The Indian Public and the Establishment should remember the quote ” Those who forget History, are condemned to repeat it” ….
